Doraemon is a Japanese manga and anime series which revolves around a robotic cat named Doraemon. Doraemon travels back in time to aid a boy called Nobita Nobi. Doraemon is sent back in time by the grandson of Nabita, to improve his circumstances, so his descendants may enjoy a better future. Doraemon has a pocket from which he produces toys, medicines, and tools from the future. Such tools are a small head accessory that allows flight and a door that opens up to any place the user wishes. Nobita's closest friend is Shizuka Minamoto.
